Coinflip Expands Crypto ATM Services to Mexico

Coinflip, a digital currency platform based in the United States, has expanded its operations into Mexico, marking its eighth international market outside the U.S. The company has installed cryptocurrency ATMs, also known as digital currency kiosks, at over 20 locations throughout Mexico City, including shopping malls and other high-traffic areas.

"As we continue to grow internationally, entering the Mexican market is a strategic move for Coinflip," said Ben Weiss, CEO and co-founder of Coinflip. "Our crypto kiosks offer a safe and familiar gateway to the global digital economy for everyday users."

Coinflip highlighted that these kiosks enable users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies securely using cash, providing a new way for consumers to engage with the digital currency market. The company informed Bitcoin.com News that this expansion into Mexico is timely, given the rising interest in cryptocurrencies across Latin America, where Mexico ranks 16th worldwide in crypto adoption.

This expansion is part of Coinflip's broader plan to cater to the increasing demand for accessible and secure cryptocurrency services in the region. Besides the physical ATMs, Coinflip's presence in Mexico includes a mobile app that allows users to create non-custodial wallets, conduct international transfers, and locate nearby crypto ATMs.
